Large Outdoor Playground
Our outdoor playground features an ample amount of green space, with plenty of room for children to roam, explore and be active. Here you will find natural wood beams, tree stumps, a stage for dramatic play, and Montessori-inspired gardens to aid the children’s learning as they play!
Indoor Gym Area
For those days of the year when it’s too cold to go outside, we have a spacious indoor gym in which our qualified physical education teachers teach our Movement program! The children can develop an active and healthy lifestyle using mini basketball nets, running through obstacle courses, and building giant forts. Even the infants get their own dedicated movement space!
Distinct Curriculum Rooms
Our McKnight location has two rooms for our Right Brain program, as well as a large gym for our movement program. Our Left Brain room features many different practical life stations, such as a pint-sized working kitchen and a construction area!
Diverse Toddler Classrooms
Our toddlers enjoy specifically designed rooms for our Right Brain and Left programs, with a distinct drop-off for parents. Here they have their own separate space for sensorial activities, free play, and music!

Ms. Sarah Kidd
Acting Centre Director
Sarah Kidd graduated with her Early Learning and Child Development Diploma from Bow Valley College in 2019, altough her career as an educator started on the floor for a Preschool/ Before and After School care program in 2014. Dedicated to her dream of becoming an Early Childhood Educator, Sarah worked with her beloved students during the day and went to night school to complete her diploma. Over a decade later, having worked in various teaching and management positions within childcare, Sarah was welcomed to the Fueling Brains Academy family.
Originally the Director of the FBA New Brighton Senior Preschool program, Sarah’s most recent role has brought her to FBA McKnight as their Director, where her presence immediately created a positive and space for all children to learn, explore and grow.
We are grateful for such a wonderful leader in Ms. Sarah, and especially glad the families from two of our campuses have gotten to experience her nurturing and engaging personality!
