Renu Rai holds both an Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) Diploma and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the Ontario College of Teachers, reflecting her strong educational foundation in the field of childhood development and education. Over the past decade, Renu has served as a director in the childcare field in Calgary, where she has consistently exhibited a deep commitment to creating safe, stimulating, and supportive environments for children to grow and learn. Her leadership has not only improved the day-to-day operations of childcare programs but also ensured compliance with regulations and best practices to maintain the highest standards of care. Renu’s role extends beyond administration, as she has always been a hands-on leader, working closely with staff to foster professional development, ensuring her team is equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide excellent childcare services. Her expertise spans program development, curriculum planning, staff training, and managing relationships with parents and the wider community, making her a highly respected figure in Calgary’s childcare sector. Outside of her professional commitments, Renu enjoys hiking and cooking.
