Len Hernandez
Centre Director
Len Hernandez is the Centre Director for Fueling Brains Academy’s Victoria campus, bringing nearly two decades of leadership experience across technology, nonprofit, service delivery, airline operations, and early childhood education. Having worked across five countries, Len brings a rich global perspective and deep cultural competence to her leadership.
At her core, Len is an educator, coach, advocate, and mother. She believes early childhood education is one of the most meaningful investments we can make—not only in the development of children, but in the future of communities and society at large. Her leadership is grounded in the belief that both learning and transformation are shaped by relationships, responsive environments, and intentional experiences.
She is professionally passionate about ensuring that every part of the academy reflects excellence, trust, and genuine care—for children, families, and the educators who guide them. Her lifelong commitment lies in elevating quality in early childhood education, championing inclusion, and cultivating reflective, professional practice.
Fueling Brains Academy Victoria welcomes children 19 months to 6 years of age. Our preschool and early learning programs provide age-appropriate experiences that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through a brain-based curriculum.
Fueling Brains Academy Victoria is the first Fueling Brains Academy campus in British Columbia, offering a brain-based curriculum with dedicated Left Brain, Right Brain, and Movement learning environments. Our programs are designed to help children develop creativity, critical thinking, confidence, and school readiness.
Our Victoria campus features dedicated learning spaces for Junior Preschool and Senior Preschool, including custom-built light stages in both Right Brain classrooms to encourage sensory exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning.
Yes. Our Victoria campus includes two separate outdoor playgrounds designed specifically for toddlers and preschool-aged children. These age-appropriate play areas encourage active play, physical development, and outdoor exploration in a safe environment.
